Mark Connelly
Founder, Lincoln Park Advisory
Lincoln Park Advisory is led by Mark Connelly — a communications strategist with more than 15 years of experience leading high-profile communications campaigns in Australia and the United States, now focused on building AI tools for the field.
The work spans two sides of the same problem. On one side, developing AI tools tailored to the specific research and messaging needs of public communications. On the other, advising corporations and political organisations on how to implement AI inside their own teams — what to build, what to buy and how to implement it.
Earlier roles include Co-Founder of Populares, Head of Brand and Communication at GetUp — Australia's largest online social movement — and Director of Online Campaigns at MoveOn.org during the 2012 US presidential cycle. Across those roles, Mark has led winning campaigns, written to memberships of millions, produced advertising that has aired on every major network in Australia and US national news, raised tens of millions of dollars, and trained more than a hundred campaigners in effective email and campaign communications.
Before moving into communications, Mark practised as a corporate lawyer in New York and Sydney, working on securities and capital-markets transactions at Willkie Farr & Gallagher and Pillsbury Winthrop, and serving as national coordinator for Lawyers for Kerry-Edwards in the 2004 US presidential campaign.
That track record is what Lincoln Park Advisory is built on: a working knowledge of what actually moves audiences, applied to a new generation of tools.
